About the Attorney
Beau Taylor, Esq.
Founder of Beau Taylor Law, PLLC. A Suffolk County trial attorney who spends his weeks in the Central Islip and Riverhead courthouses and his evenings answering client calls.
Experience that comes from the courtroom
Beau Taylor founded Beau Taylor Law, PLLC to give clients on the East End and across Suffolk County the kind of representation usually reserved for larger firms: thorough preparation, honest advice, and an attorney who personally handles the case from the first consultation through the final order.
His practice is concentrated in family and matrimonial law. He represents parents and spouses in divorce, custody, support, and family offense matters in Suffolk County Family Court and Supreme Court, and he holds several court appointed roles that few private attorneys have:
- Attorney for the Child. Appointed by the court to represent children in custody, visitation, and family offense proceedings.
- Assigned counsel panel. A member of the Suffolk County assigned counsel (18B) panel, representing parents and litigants in Family Court.
- Court Evaluator. Appointed by the Suffolk County Supreme Court as Court Evaluator in Article 81 guardianship proceedings, investigating and reporting to the court on whether a guardian should be appointed.
Those appointments mean Beau sees family cases from every side of the courtroom: the parent, the child, and the neutral reporting to the judge. Clients benefit from that perspective in every negotiation and every hearing.
The firm also counsels small businesses and employers, represents injured people in negligence claims, and prepares estate plans and handles probate, guardianship, and contested matters in Surrogate's Court.
